The girl finally takes the journey on the lonely land,
The dwarfing valleys seen to call out for her
She has known only two touches – that of rough earth and the
silky sand,
What eludes her, is the cheerful watery banter
The shading mountains begin to peep as the road silks its
route
The maverick ranges make the subtle green come alive as
drive along
Today, as she plucks the dying memories of her painful past from
their shoot
She finally finds her voice being heard– on what is right
and what is wrong
The lofty hills and green pastures offer her their humble
ears,
She smiles, almost reaching out to them; in a splash of
moment
As the road turns, she can feel her life to be changing
gears
She knows now – she is going to touch the alien sense of a
vent
She is going to embrace a new touch – that of the magnanimous
river
She had always lived in the fear of the unknown
Little did she know the holy waters are as loving as a Godly
giver
One moment’s magic, and every little splash in the Ganges
became her own
In a lifetime of one moment, the girl caved out of her fear,
The fear of water was ripped as she rode on the waves of
loving waters
Like a child who enjoys the first splash in his baby pool
She leaped on the raft, pushing every demon of the mind
aside
She now takes a leap of faith – to come home to her source,
her self
She knows, as she smiles, fear is nothing but love, albeit
unknown
She pledges to live and spread the wave of love
After all, waves her now hers, she calls them ‘her own’
