Each time you have smeared my face with dismay,
A new hope has always sprung up!
Each time you have unleashed your cruelty on me;
A new grave for me has been dug up!
That’s because you killed my soul today!!

From where I see, everything is over!
Maybe someone up there loves me not
And whenever I had wished for some light to come my way
You have made sure that I got pain in retort!

They insist always keep the love going!
I ask…Oh! is this what love is??
I affirm, love is nothing but a curse
And if this is true, then tell me what hatred is!!

Maybe today I learnt to unlove
But no regrets for the times gone by
Ah! How I envy my destiny!
I wish I could do without the pain you chose to make mine!

Well! At least something I could call mine!
Even if it snatched my belief from the beauty of emotions
Agreed it was only heartache that came in my path
But god has today removed all doubt and commotion
